Wayne started his coaching career at Hazen Union High School
serving as chief assistant to his mentor Steve Pratt. During that
period Hazen went to four final fours and won one state
championship. Also during that time Wayne helped run Wildcat AAU,
serving as Head Coach for its boys 17u team. That team featured
seven all-state players and one player of the year. Wayne then went
to Chicago where he joined Full Package Athletics. While at Full
Package Athletics Wayne helped in player development, working
with several of the areas high school, college, and overseas players.
Wayne then returned to his native Vermont. In 2004 Wayne created
Lone Wolf Athletics, with the goal to provide high quality basketball
training to aspiring athletes. In 2006 Wayne was hired as an
assistant coach for the Vermont Frost Heaves. The Frost Heaves are
a pro basketball team that plays in the ABA. Today many of the top
players in Vermont and New Hampshire take part in Lone Wolf
Athletics programs.
Steve started his coaching career in Vermont, leading Hazen Union High School to one state championship. Steve was also very
active in the AAU scene, winning two Vermont AAU championships. Steve then moved on to Chicago where he co-founded Full
Package Athletics. Today Full Package Athletics is one of the nations premier player development companies. Regarded as one
of the nations best player development coaches, Steve has trained hundreds of athletes, ranging from NBA player Elton Brand
and Brad Miller to countless aspiring young athletes. Each year Steve plans to return to Vermont to teach at basketball camps
co-sponsored by Full Package Athletics and Lone Wolf Athletics.

Matt Johnson – Former UVM great is currently the Head Coach at Burlington High School, 2006 Division 1 Boys State
Champions, 2006 Vermont Basketball Coaches Association Division 1 Boy's coach of the year, and 2006 Metro Boys coach of
the year.
Shawn Montague – Currently the Head Coach at Essex High School, 2006 Division 1 Girls State Champions, and 2006 Metro
Girls Coach of the year.
Dale Dorey has been a fixture in Vermont basketball for decades, first as one of the top players in Winooski High School history
and now as a coach. Having coached at all levels Dale climbed the coaching ranks to become the varsity girls coach at Rice
Memorial. While at Rice Memorial Dale rebuilt the program into a winner and in 2006 Rice returned to elite status by making the
division 1 semi-finals. In the spring of 2006 Dale parted ways with Rice Memorial and joined the staff of Lone Wolf's girls 16u
AAU nation travel program. Dale's primary duties as the top assistant coach are defensive development and scouting. Dale's
knowledge of the game is critical to the future success of the program.
Les Goldberg has quickly built a fine reputation as a coach in Vermont since moving from Florida in 2004. Before Vermont Les
was on the Board of Directors for South Florida Youth Basketball. He was also a successfull AAU coach in Florida, helping to
lead the Gold Coast Heat 11u team to a 15th place finish in the AAU national championships. After moving to Vermont Les
started the Vermont Edge, an AAU team from Stowe, Vermont. While as head coach he lead them to a 3rd place finish in the
Vermont AAU state championships for 16u. In 2005 Les joined the Lone Wolf boys program as the head coach for it's 17u AAU
national travel team. In 2006 the Lone Wolf 17u team captured the Vermont AAU championship and qualified for the AAU national
championships with Les at the helm. Les's knowledge and work ethic will continue to bring success to the boys program.
